Sri Sri Radha Shyamsundar Jhulana Yatra - 23 August, 2026
ISKCON Vrindavan

“jaya rādhā-mādhava kuñja-bihārī”

All glories to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Govinda, the Divine Swinging Lovers of Vṛndāvana!

As the monsoon breeze gently stirs the forests of Vrindavan, and peacocks dance under the cloudy sky, the devotees’ hearts bloom with joy- Jhulana Yatra has arrived! For five divine evenings, from 23 August, 2026, the Divine Couple, Sri Sri Radha-Govinda, are lovingly invited to swing in Their flower-adorned grove at ISKCON Vrindavan.

What is Jhulana Yatra?

Jhulana Yatra is a cherished festival where devotees celebrate Radha and Krishna’s swinging pastimes (jhulana-līlā) in the groves of Vrindavan. It is observed during the bright half of the Śrāvaṇa month, a season filled with devotion, romance, and monsoon beauty.

This festival re-enacts the transcendental pastime where the sakhis (gopi friends) joyfully place Sri Radha and Krishna on a swing, pushing Them gently while singing, dancing, and offering flowers and sweets.
