Panca Gauda came to Buffalo, New York with his family in 1961 and studied at the University of   Buffalo majoring in music.​  In 1975 he came in contact with the devotees in Buffalo,New York and was fortunate enough to see and spend a few days with Srila Prabhupada in Washington DC 1976.​

He then served in Miami Florida from 1976 - 1993 doing book distribution and was the temple President from 1982 until 1990.​

Prabhuji then moved to Vrindavan Krishna Balaram Mandir, in 1993 as Vice President until 2000.

 Currently he is the temple President of Krishna Balram Mandir and also the chairman of the new construction project of KBCC.
